Q: How much does the Decoded app cost?
A: The standard version costs £2.99. You can then upgrade to the full version for £14.99.
Q: What are the features for the standard version of the Decoded app?
A: With the standard version (£2.99), you get to build your own version of Decoded by selecting your ten favorite Jay-Z songs to be "decoded." For each song you decode, you will unlock:
- the full set of lyrics, along with Jay-Z’s notes and annotations
- A little bit of Jay’s personal story from the pages of Decoded
- Select songs will also include never-before-seen video interviews with Jay where he discusses the back-story and inspiration for his music.
You can listen to any Jay-Z songs you already have in your iTunes library from within the app. You can also preview or buy any songs you do not own via iTunes.
Q: What are the features for the full version of the Decoded app?
A: With the full version (which you can unlock for £14.99 once you download the app), you get the full text of Jay-Z’s Decoded, plus:
- all 36 sets of annotated song lyrics
- all of Jay-Z’s personal story
- all 19 video interviews
